Would-Be-Goods

Headed by Jessica Griffin and backed by members of The Monochrome Set, the Would-Be-Goods were part of the fabulous él label in the late 80's. The label folded in 1990 but the bands continued to be immensely popular in Japan and the second album Mondo was a Japanese only album until it was re-released by Richmond Records in the late 90's.
Jessica returned to the London scene in sping 2001 with an excellent gig at a Matinée Recordings showcase, second band member is Pete Momtchiloff of Talulah Gosh/Heavenly fame.
