The Lodger - Grown-Ups
Yes I know, this came out over a year ago and there is a second album out already, but I haven't given enough credit to this first one. Last summer when I came back to Europe the album kind of got lost among all the other new things I had picked up. At the indietracks festival last July they were one of my favourites and I still didn't find the time to listen to the album. But today while cycling up and down the hills of Seattle I had to stop four or five times to check mt Ipod for the band I was listening to and in every case it was a great song from that first Lodger LP. So give it a listen and I hope it wont take you as long as me to realize how good these guys are.
